More than 3,500 cases of chocolate milk have been recalled due to a packaging issue, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).1
Horizon Organic Dairy first issued the recall on March 11. On May 5, the FDA classified it as a Class II recall, meaning the product could cause temporary or medically reversible health effects, but the risk of serious harm is low. The recall was prompted by potentially compromised packaging, which could affect product quality or safety.
